Albania

Join us for a seven-day journey through Albania, one of Europe’s most striking stories of political and cultural transformation. Emerging from decades of isolation, Albania is now a vibrant democracy and a leading candidate for EU membership. In Tirana, explore a capital alive with art, café culture, and creative reuse of its communist past, while meeting politicians, journalists, and activists shaping the country’s future. The journey continues to Berat, the UNESCO-listed “city of a thousand windows,” where Ottoman-era neighborhoods, living citadels, local wines, and traditions of coexistence reveal Albania’s layered history and enduring cultural soul.

What’s Included

As with all of our journeys, we aim to keep our group size intentionally small, around 15-20 guests, so that every traveler can feel fully included. This allows for deeper conversations, more meaningful connections, and the kind of shared experiences that simply aren’t possible in larger groups.
