Elizabeth Bleuer brings over a decade of global experience in democracy, governance, and human rights to her role leading Democracy Journeys. She has designed and led immersive trips on three continents, blending political insight with cultural depth — from high-level civic conversations to meeting local changemakers. 

Elizabeth’s democracy and human rights work has taken her to more than 15 countries across Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. Having lived in Kenya, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Switzerland, Elizabeth brings curiosity, cross-cultural fluency, and a deep respect for local context to every journey she leads.
